Where can I get my electric bike repaired?

For general wear and tear, you can take your bike to any local bike shop. If the issue is due to a manufacturing defect and within the warranty period, it will be covered under our warranty.

Are your electric bikes legal to use in Australia?

Our bikes are configured to comply with Australian regulations, featuring a continuous power output of 250 or 500 watts and a speed limit of 25 km/h. Each state may have specific requirements, so we recommend checking your local laws.

Do I need to register my electric bike?

No, electric bikes that meet the specified power and speed limits do not require registration and can be used like regular bicycles. Riders must adhere to local road rules applicable to cyclists.

Is it possible to unlock my bike's motor power or speed?

Yes, you can unlock your bike to reach its maximum speed or power output. However, please be aware that modifying these settings may restrict your bike to off-road private property use only, depending on local regulations. ○ Speed limits vary by region, but in most states, exceeding 25km/h on public roads is not legally permitted. Always check your local laws before making adjustments.

What is the range of my ebike, and how long does the battery last?

The range varies between 60km to 70km when using pedal assist, depending on the model and riding conditions. The battery lifespan exceeds 1,000 charge cycles. For specific details, please refer to the specifications of each model.

Are passenger footrest available for e-bikes?

Some models come with rear passenger footrest included - assembly required. For specific details, please refer to the specifications of each model.

Is maintenance required for e-bikes?

Yes, we recommend servicing your e-bike once a year or every 600 km, whichever comes first.

How long does it take to assemble a MUV e-bike?

Our bikes arrive 80% pre-assembled, with the rear wheel already attached. Simply install the front wheel, handlebars, rear racks and pedals, check everything over, and you're ready to ride. The assembly process is quick and easy, taking approximately 20-25 minutes depending on the model. Follow the provided instructions on the manual to complete the assembly, or have it professionally assembled at a local bike shop.

Are e-bikes waterproof?

Our bikes are water-resistant, but they should not be fully submerged or sprayed directly with a hose when cleaning.

How much does an e-bike weigh and what is the maximum load?

MUV e-bikes with fat tires weigh approximately 38kg and support a maximum load of 120kg.

Shipping and delivery:

How long does the delivery take?

Orders are processed and dispatched within one business day. Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days within NSW and QLD and 5-12 business days for locations outside NSW and QLD. Please note that shipping times may be longer during peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year.

What are the delivery costs?

We provide free shipping for NSW, QLD and VICTORIA for orders over $100. For orders under $100, a $10 flat rate shipping fee applies. A $199.00 fee applies for SA, NT, WA, TASMANIA and remote locations.

Can I have my order delivered to a PO Box?

No, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes, as most of our products have irregular dimensions and require a signature upon arrival.

Placing Orders, Returns, and Cancellations Policy:

Return policy?

We accept returns within 7 days, provided the item is in its original, unopened packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For full details, please refer to our returns policy on the supplied Manual.

How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, please email us at admin@muvaustralia.com.au to request a return form. For oversized items, we require the use of our trusted couriers to ensure safe transit. Be sure to include the completed returns form with your package.

How do I cancel my order?

For in-stock bike orders, cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of order confirmation to avoid any charges. Requests made after this period may incur delivery fees. Please send us an email on admin@muvaustralia.com.au

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item(s).

Where can I find my bike's serial number?

The serial number is located on the front of the frame. Be sure to record it for security and theft reporting purposes. Use this number to register your bike on the website.
